About Calling U Out
Rooted in Street Dance, Calling U Out brings schools and dancers together through Street Dance, Contemporary, Acrobatics and Mixed Style events. From a dancer’s first competition to the UK Championships, we make space to build confidence, celebrate progress and feel part of the CUO community.
Using dance to bring people together
With more than a decade of events behind us, CUO combines competition with community. We bring dancers, teachers and families together to share their passion, support each other and make memories beyond the dance floor.
Our Story
The Past
CUO began after seeing how much dancers loved competitions, but also recognising there was space to create something fresh, friendly and more inclusive. Calling U Out was formed in 2011 and held its first event in 2012.
The Present
CUO has now delivered over 100 events, with busy regional competitions and large championship events bringing together soloists, teams, teachers, families and schools from across the dance community.
The Future
CUO continues to grow while staying true to its core values: community, inclusivity, creativity and the power of dance to unite people. We are always developing new ideas to support dancers and schools.
