About Calling U Out
Calling U Out was created to bring dancers together through exciting, supportive and forward-thinking dance events. Our aim is simple: to use dance to build confidence, friendships and unforgettable performance experiences.
Since 2010
“To use dance to bring people together.” CUO has grown from a passion for dance events into a community-focused competition platform with over ten years of experience, creative event ideas and a love for supporting dancers of all levels.
Our Story
The Past
CUO began after seeing how much dancers loved competitions, but also recognising there was space to create something fresh, friendly and more inclusive. Calling U Out was formed in 2011 and held its first event in 2012.
The Present
CUO has now delivered over 100 events, with busy regional competitions and large championship events bringing together soloists, teams, teachers, families and schools from across the dance community.
The Future
CUO continues to grow while staying true to its core values: community, inclusivity, creativity and the power of dance to unite people. We are always developing new ideas to support dancers and schools.
