All-Inclusive/Styles Weekend Pass - £90 -Allows dancers to compete in all sections for teams, duets and any solo sections they placed 1-7th at a regional event, and any of the Friday night sections running
All-Inclusive/Styles day pass - £50: - Allows dancers to compete in all sections running on the specified day and any workshops including any solos they have qualified for, either Saturday or Sunday
Single Style Weekend Pass - £65 - Dancers can compete in one dance genre in teams and duets, choosing from Acrobatics, Contemporary, or Streetdance, and if they placed 1-7th in that style as a soloist at a regional event, and any of the Friday night sections running.
Single style day pass - £37.50: - Allows dancers to compete in a single style of dance in the sections running that day, and any workshops for either Saturday or Sunday
Friday only Dancer and Spectator passes passes - £12.50 - Allows dancers to compete in any of the sections running on Friday night only
Note: for solos they must have qualified 1st-7th at our regional events.
*Event sections may be revised.
**Day passes are excluded from our Teacher early bird promotion.
Tickets are available on the door for this event, providing it's not sold out.
Why our weekend is different?
Our event showcases the three most sought-after dance styles: Acrobatics, Contemporary, and Streetdance. Schools can choose to participate in one or more styles. We provide a dynamic weekend where families can either compete, attend workshops, or enjoy both! It's a chance to compete for the prestigious title of UK's CUO British Champion at "Calling U Out" and to be crowned as the British Champion.

- Soloists who achieve first place at weekender will have the chance to compete against other top-performing dancers in their ability sections, battling for the "ELITE DANCER OF THE YEAR" title.
- Our special "Golden Tickets": At each regional event, our judges and the CUO team will award 4 GOLDEN tickets to dancers who radiate passion and possess a unique flair. These tickets grant access to an exclusive workshop held during the weekend, tailored just for them.
- Top performing teams by ability take a share of the cash prize and win the title: CUO CHAMP OF CHAMPS at the weekender

Booking, Early bird & Deadline information
BookingYou can secure your booking through our online system by placing a non-refundable deposit of £200. Ensure you indicate the number of teams attending when reserving your tickets.
Early Bird reward - Teachers, book before the 1st of January 2025 to receive a early bird reward for weekend passes,
If you're planning to attend an regional event after the 1st of January 2025 you still can book and pay the deposit before the deadline to receive the Early Bird offer. Teachers, kindly reach out directly to CUO for this promotion for more details.
Key Deadlines:
- Early bird deadline - 1st January 2025
- Dancer & team registrations and ticket orders: 13th May (a month prior to the event). Schools failing to meet this deadline will not be part of the event.
- Music submissions: 26th May to Info@callinguout.co.uk with your files clearly labelled with Team name and school.
- Tickets will start being dispatched from 26th May. The final payment should be made by the 26th of May through a bank transfer. On-the-spot payments are also accepted.
Please note that post-deadline amendments are not possible, Early bird is not included in day tickets.
How do I qualify for the event?
Competition RulesJune 2025 Event Qualification Criteria:
General Eligibility:
To be eligible for our June 2025 event, Dance schools must have attended one of our events in the following categories between September 2024 to June 2025 and can bring any dancers to take part.
• Streetdance,
• Acrobatics
• Contemporary
• Groups*
Teams and Duets and friday night fun sections - In an effort to keep our events fresh and inclusive:
Any dancers can take part in any team or duet, or friday night sections over the weekend event across the three dance styles (Streetdance, Acrobatics, Contemporary), provided their respective school has attended one of our regional events.
Soloists only
Place 1-7th in any SOLO ( Set solo or Improv/freestyle) of that style of dance and qualify to enter our SOLO Section in that style at the championships
e,g If you qualify in a Contemporary Improv and/or Contemporary Set solos at a regonal event, you are eligible to participate in the Set Solos category at our weekend event in Contemporary.
Note: for Solo Categories we will be hosting:
- Street dance freestyle solos.
- Contemporary Set solos
- Acrobatics Set solos
When a soloist qualifies for our Championships, in their specific ability level, they must enter the championships at that level, and then the next season move up ability as per our rules, However, if a dancer chooses to enter another event in the current season, at a higher level unless they place 1-5th and qualify in the higher level, they must compete at the championship in the level they qualified in, not the higher level.
* Groups - Schools who attend our group's event qualify for the championships and can enter all styles and sections of dance in street, contemporary or acrobatics, however unless they qualified in solos, they cannot take part in solos, unless they attend an event and qualify

Insurance Advisory:
It's essential to secure appropriate insurance when making reservations. CUO will not be liable for any financial setbacks or damages. This includes hotel and travel costs resulting from cancellations or changes in the event schedule for any reason.
In the event we need to cancel or reschedule, attendees can opt for a full ticket refund or a transfer/credit. However, if you're unable to attend for any reason or miss the specified ticket return deadline in our terms, refunds for tickets or deposits will not be available.
Event Schedule:
Kindly be aware that our schedule might be subject to changes and is planned for the entire weekend. We reserve the right to make necessary adjustments to any segments during the weekend.
Awards
Inclusive Dance Events
We take immense pride in hosting inclusive events that uphold fairness, celebrating dancers for their significant contributions to the dance world.
Awards Breakdown:
- General Categories: We award positions from 1st to 5th across all sections, based on the number of entries ( 6th place is awarded at judges discretion) for CUO british champions.
- Elite Soloist Challenge: Dancers who secure the 1st place at the weekend compete in a thrilling knockout style challenge. The goal? To be crowned the "Elite Soloist 2024". For instance, all beginner-level dancers, irrespective of their age, will compete against each other in this challenge. Only the top dancer will be awarded in this section.
- Team Cash Prize Challenge: For teams that secure 1st place in their respective ability sections, we compare scores to determine the ultimate winner. The title up for grabs? " Calling U Out CHAMPIONS OF CHAMPIONS 2024". The cash prize for this top honor is equally divided and awarded to their respective teachers, marking this as our most prestigious accolade.
- New Special awards and prizes- Each dancer will receive a medal which are available at the desk for collection in the teacher packs. Each style team dance will have Judges awards, Best choreography and most unique awards.
Workshops
Over the course of the weekend, we will host an array of workshops, encompassing all three dance styles, with sessions designed for both beginners and open-level participants.
Please note that these workshops won't be synchronized with the event schedule. Dancers are advised to select workshops based on their competition commitments. If you're participating in multiple competition sections, it may limit your availability for these workshops.
For dancers who didn't qualify for soloist spots, this provides an opportunity to utilize the available time to engage in the concurrent workshops.
The workshop schedule will be released two weeks prior to the event.
Sections to enter, Ability and age
Championships
Soloists - Dancers who place 1-7th at a regional event when attending the Championships compete in the same Ability section they qualified in.
Questions
Q: If I qualify for the championships can I attend another event before it and try to qualify in a Higher section?
A: Yes, however if you do not qualify in the higher ability you must enter the championships at the ability you qualifed in.
Q: Do I have to move up in ability if I enter another event before the champs if I place 1st or place 2-5th 3 times?
A: No you do not have to move up until the next season,you can move up if you wish to, but you can only enter the champs at the ability you qualified in, if you move up and qualify again then you must compete in the highest level you qualifed in. You cannot move back down ability unless its due to our age rule at the end of the season, and you cannot move back down to intro once you have moved up.
Teams & Duets
Any teams and duets must enter the section they are currently placed in in ours or other events, and if they place 1st or place 3 times they must move up to the next ability, including for our championships as any regular event.
Q: If my team places 1st in beginners at a regional event do they compete in intermediate at the championships?
A: Yes for teams and duets you must enter your current level following our rules for these sections, and if you have placed 1st you will dance in the section higher at the champs.
Note: As there is no qualifying criteria this season for teams or duets to ensure we remain inclusive, Team & duets must follow our regular rules with moving ability to ensure fairness at this event.
Ageing up
If a dancers ages up, they must compete at the championships at their ability level and their new age level. After the championships and season they can choose to remain in the new ability for this age or drop down ability, no dancers can drop back down to intro once they have moved up.
Golden ticket winners
Throughout the year, we select Golden Ticket winners at regional events. These talented dancers earn an exclusive invitation to a special workshop, exclusively held at our weekend championships.
