Written quickstart

Dancers aged 18 or over

Entering for yourself? Create your own Dancer account and book yourself into an event.

This is a written quickstart. The video tutorials on this page cover Teacher and Parent accounts.

  1. Create your Dancer account

Open the portal, choose Sign up and select Dancer membership.

  2. Choose your event

After creating your account, open EVENT REGISTRATION and select the event you want to enter.

  3. Add any spectators

Enter any spectator numbers you need.

  4. Enter yourself

Choose the correct sections for your entry. Check the event details and its current registration deadline.

Teachers and parents: agree who is booking

Agree who will enter each dancer and competition style, and who will pay. Parent bookings and school bookings can create separate invoices. Each booker should check the entries and invoice in the account used to make the booking.

Check before changing Ability

The portal warns that changing a dancer's Ability removes upcoming entries for that category. Check existing entries with your teacher before making a change. The amendment video covers solo entries; contact CUO for help with duet or team changes.

Quick answers

What do I use to sign in?

Use your Membership Number and password. The login page has links to recover your membership number, reset your password or resend the confirmation email.

What is the Centre Passcode?

It is the school's joining code. Teachers can find it under DANCE SCHOOLS, then MANAGE DANCE SCHOOL. Parents choose the school by name and enter the code if they have it. Without the code, the school must approve the request.

Why does the school show ENROLLMENT PENDING?

The joining request is waiting for the school. A teacher opens MANAGE DANCERS, selects the correct row under PENDING DANCERS and chooses ACTIVATE.

Where are Ability and the selection checkbox?

On a smaller screen, scroll the dancer table sideways to find the Ability and SELECT columns. Choose the dancer's Ability to enable their checkbox.

I removed a solo entry, but the dancer is missing when I try again.

Close the registration form, refresh the event page and open REGISTER DANCERS again. Check the corrected saved entry after you submit.

What if REGISTRATION SUMMARY does not open?

Check your saved entries under REGISTERED DANCERS and open your invoice from the invoice icon. Contact CUO if the summary button remains unresponsive.
